Part-Time Faculty Needed for BSN Online Programs
Mid America Learning is accepting letters of interest and CVs for part-time faculty to teach online courses and supervise clinical for all Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) content areas.
Mid America Learning recruits faculty on behalf of cutting edge, higher education institutions that specialize in offering the opportunity for online nursing education to healthcare professionals through alternative-entry, rapid mobility programs. Mid America collaborates with its partner universities to develop, implement and sustain such programs.
The didactic portion of curriculum for programs is offered primarily through interactive, online learning. The clinical sites are in the Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio areas. Faculty training is provided and faculty have continuing support.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Faculty requirements are:

A master’s degree in nursing.

A current, unencumbered RN license in a US state or territory for online teaching only.

A current, unencumbered Texas RN license for clinical supervision.

Current clinical experience in specialty for clinical supervision positions.

Previous teaching experiences.
Preferred qualifications are:

Experience teaching in the online teaching/learning environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

The ability to work with adult learners at a distance.

Computer literacy and use of technology.
