I have one arrest showing on FBI report, no conviction, how do I get it removed to attend nursing school?

I have no convictions, case was dismissed and I attended drug diversion over 10 yrs ago. It is now coming up on an FBI criminal history report and may prevent me from attending nursing school or gaining employment in a hospital. How can I clear this and pursue my career?

You can’t get it removed because it’s not a conviction and doesn’t harm you. That is information that is not public records or the courts. So you can’t remove FBI data from their files. It’s not suppose to be used against you and should not be part of a nursing school application.
